Thai Festival 2007

It's been a long time since I last blogged, it's not because we haven't done anything interesting, but work has been very busy, so I really slacked off.

Anyway, it's finally starting to feel like fall at Houston, and when temperature hits below 90F, people can't wait to be outdoors! We decided to take Trinity to a Thai festival this evening, being we've never been to one before, you never know what to expect. Well this festival is one we would definitely want to return next year, good food, friendly people, and tons of fun events through out the night. We bought a beautiful hand-made lotus flower with incense and candle, lighted it and floated it in the pond (suppose to take away your worries and trouble), we also adopted a beautiful orange/gold colored koi fish and freed it in the pond (for good fortune), the resident monks will take good care of it for us daily. Trinity named our koi "TURTLE", we love that now we can say "Our dog's name is Booger, and our fish's name is Turtle!" Very Wacky, very us!

Here are a few pictures of our festivities, enjoy!
