A Family of Bubbles

Daddy bought some new scrubs that seems to enhance his rear-end. So I was commenting on how bubbly his butt is, now I live with 2 bubble butts, one big, one small.

Trinity recounted: Daddy, you have a big bubble butt, I have a little bubble butt, and Mommy, you have a HUGE bubble butt!"

Booger

Trinity thinks the family pet Booger is her dog, even though we've had him since way before she was even conceived. She's very protective of Booger, and tells all her friends that Booger is her brother, and she is his sister.

Normally every night after I read Trini a bedtime story, we would both go feed HER Dog and refresh HER DOG's water bowl. Today after I finished the story (in her bed instead of at her desk per Trinity's request), I asked her to go with me and get Booger's food. Trini answered: I am too tired! I told her since Booger is HER dog, she should make sure he doesn't starve. This is when Trinity announced loudly: Mommy, Booger is your dog TODAY, you can give him back to me tomorrow when I am not so tired anymore...

Too Much Information!

Trinity likes to announce her bodily functions. When she burps, farts, gotta pee and gotta poo, she'll say it and share the info with everyone in the room.

Usually she'll give you a heads-up before going in the bathroom: "Mama, I am going to poop A LOT!", and then proudly sit on the throne and do her business. Last night after she was done, I asked her whether she accomplished what she set out to accomplish? She replied "Nope, only 2 this time!" I think I'll stop asking from now on...

Mama's Zit Farm

I was driving Trini to school, we wanted to drop by the market to buy some fry rice for her teachers, so I decided to put on some powder to hide the ugliness, just then Trini yelled: "Stop Mommy, putting that on is the reason why you grow things on your face!"

Daddy's singing

Daddy likes to sing at the top of his lungs in the car. Trini is usually quite bossy when it comes to people singing "Her Songs". But yesterday she got very specific "Daddy, stop singing, you are a TERRIBLE SINGER! Only Mommy and I can sing this song!"

Ojo and Dogo

We bought 2 squishy toys (one is a duck, the other a pig) for Trini from Target, on the way back home, Daddy asks her what are their names? Thinking Trini would say something along the line of Duckie and Piggie (she is only 3 after all), instead, she said very proudly: "OJO and DOGO!" then specified "Ojo" as the duck, and "Dogo" as the pig. I might be biased, but I call that creativity!

I am beautiful

Trini and I were getting ready for a "Girls' night out". I put her in a nice dress, and while I was getting ready, she decided to put on a jacket. I told Trini, it's very hot outside, you don't need a jacket, Trini said "But Mom, I am BEAUTIFUL". I hope she will keep the confidence, ALWAYS.

Daddy's butt

Trinity likes to hit Daddy's butt when he's walking around ahead of us. Daddy asks her why does she do that, she says "because it's squishy".

Interesting saying coming from a 3 year old

So we were heading to dinner last night, daddy says to Trini: "I missed you today." Trini replied simply : "Then you should come home sooner". Simple logic from a 3 year old, they are amazing creatures!
